Remind yourself that you have work you need to finish. If you need help ask. Don't be too proud to do so. Also remind yourself that this is your future at stake, and to put your best foot forward. When trying to keep yourself accountable, and sufficiently manage your time. You need to have reminders in order to keep the project deadlines present in your mind. No one can remember everything. And again keep yourself accountable, don't let it slip by as something not important take care of your business. If your completing a difficult task, and no one supports you, remember that you're independent. You make independent decisions and it's up to you to decide whether they are good ones and bad ones. If you make the wrong descision remember it for future reference. Take it as something to grow upon not something to cut you down. Use your resources wisely, your friends and family don't always know the answer.

You can study anywhere you are. You just have to buckle down and do it. Finding a quiet place isn't hard. You can learn to be self-sufficient and depend on yourself. Independence is key in growing up. Which means your not always going to have support. Sometimes you have to deal with inconvenient situations. Such as being distracted while trying to accomplish the task of studying. Separate yourself from outside distractions.

Find birth certificate in Al's cabinet. Go to bookstore to look at designs for tattoo, before this date. Check reviews for different tattoo shops around Dallas. Go to shop at 7:00, start tattooing.

Paint mural on bedroom wall on 17th birthday. Pencil out design with Ariel,and go to Micheal's for paints on previous day. Begin painting at 12 AM.

Note taking.

Usually when it comes to taking notes, I don't. Unless the teacher states something along the lines of "take notes on the following", I don't take initiative. I don't feel as though it's always necessary. Sometimes teachers ramble, or review things that are already known. But in the case of a project I take extensive notes. Projects are major grades in school, I take them seriously. In any other case I wouldn't care. In college classes you listen to lectures on disciplines, but don't usually do work in class. Assignments are usually papers over lectures and tests over lectures. Making taking notes a priority. In highschool we have daily grades, projects, quizzes, and tests over various things, not just lectures. And sometimes depending on the teacher they hand out notes.

I am not studious.

When I study, if I study, my area is outside. I'll either go on a walk and find a quiet place, or I'll go to my mimi's ranch and find a spot in the woods. Just the feeling of nature takes me to a state of tranquility. The peace of it helps me focus on the task of studying. To get ready to study I take a few deep breaths and dive in. I don't really have any rituals, theres no point. I study alone to keep from getting distracted, because if I'm with others I get sociable. Getting off task and playing around are the result when I try to study with a group. Another distraction is becoming too peaceful. Then all I can think about is sleeping, or that I could be doing something more exciting. These are my usual study habits. I should probably make an effort to study more, because it would improve my grades. But I've never been a studious person.
