I am not studious.

When I study, if I study, my area is outside. I'll either go on a walk and find a quiet place, or I'll go to my mimi's ranch and find a spot in the woods. Just the feeling of nature takes me to a state of tranquility. The peace of it helps me focus on the task of studying. To get ready to study I take a few deep breaths and dive in. I don't really have any rituals, theres no point. I study alone to keep from getting distracted, because if I'm with others I get sociable. Getting off task and playing around are the result when I try to study with a group. Another distraction is becoming too peaceful. Then all I can think about is sleeping, or that I could be doing something more exciting. These are my usual study habits. I should probably make an effort to study more, because it would improve my grades. But I've never been a studious person.

Technology

The benefits of technology are immense. From being able to make a mobile call for help to health technology that extends someones life, most effects are positive. Technology can sometimes be an addiction. I tend to text or facebook twenty four seven. Overall though I'd say I've handled it responsibly. People are using cellphones or mp3s during driving, which causes crashes and an increased number of deaths. People can be addicted to internet sites which can effect a persons thinking. These things are just few cons to the new technology rage.

Rock on Mr.Mills

I would like to be a marine biologist and study the oceans of the world. I think when living abroad you can become more independent. With this your perspective can change and you can experience live with a more open mind. Living abroad you see, taste, and hear new things that make you more knowledgeable about the world. You develop appreciation for the world. But you know you can always go home. What would be most difficult about living abroad would most likely be two things. First you would be away from your family and be home-sick. Second its a new place in which you aren't quite familiar with everything. I think that over-all it would be a life changing experience I'd like to partake in.

Relationships

Since school has started life has changed a bit. I have lost contact with people who used to be my "bestfriends". But with that i have gained new friends. I've also come into my own you could say. I'm more confident in what kind of person i am and what kind of person i want to be.
I have excepted the fact that life changes. With each year I progress into adulthood, and with this I have matured and become a stronger person. And each year becomes a chapter in the book of my life. I and only I have the power to write my story. This being said it is my responsibility to take things with a grain of salt, and not let trivial things effect my life. Things happen for a reason. But it's not always easy just to move on from things you've become attached to. Closing the doors to my past relationships is the hardest part of switching to Global. I have lost several close relationships due to this. Not only has becoming a Global student effected past friendships, but it has also effected family life as well. My parents expect more of me and my ability to be responsible, so at times it gets stressful.

Investigating occupations

One occupation i would like to pursue is psychology. Psychology is the study of the human mind. Things like what makes it tick and what causes people to do the things they do. The psychology field I would like to pursue is Behaviorism. Behaviorism is the theory of learning that all behaviors are acquired through conditioning.

Another occupation I would like to pursue is to be an art historian. Art historians gather information about art itself as well as the artists. They are researchers, they look for answers like; When was the art created, what does it represent, and what effect did it have on history.
Last but not least I'd like to maybe be a Dental Hygienist. Dental hygienists teach people how to keep their teeth "in shape". Which interests me because dental hygiene is a big part of my everyday life.
